I’d like to first introduce myself; my name is Amber Aldridge and I’m originally from a tiny town located in the UP named Ironwood. I would also like to call a small town also located in the UP named Marquette one of my homes as well, I spent quite a few years in Marquette and I’ve met so many amazing and inspiring people that I now call good friends, but besides those little facts about me I also want to discuss everything I loved about the UP and everything I love about living here in Utah and the year beforehand living in Colorado.
The great outdoors; there’s of course so much of it all around us but there is something so special about those lakeshores in the Upper Peninsula specifically Marquette, as well as the beautiful mountains out west. Lake Superior truly will always have a piece of my heart. The calmness you get from the waves crashing on shore and the fresh air you receive from all the beautiful pine trees is something incomparable. Now, since moving out west to Colorado/Utah I have experienced a whole new kind of beauty. Something totally different from what I’ve experienced in the past. The most incredible thing is I’ve found so many little pockets that remind me of the UP and it’s incredibly surprising.
One thing that has always followed me from every place I have visited or lived is my passion and love for jewelry. Hearing about Beth Millner Jewelry so many years ago from one of my dear friends Hannah, I knew I would love to wear and promote such an incredible company. One thing that I love about this jewelry is its beauty and secondly the ethically sourced material Beth uses to create such incredible pieces of art. If you love the outdoors as much as I do you will find everything that encapsulates the beauty of nature in every piece of Beth’s work. This jewelry will withstand it all, from hiking to exploring all your favorite lakes or mountains.
