Hello! My name is Ann Smart and I am so excited to be an ambassador for Beth Millner Jewelry throughout the summer of 2020! My family and I live in Adrian, Michigan where I am an Educational Technology Consultant and my husband runs his own graphic design company.
We met on the ski slopes of Northern Michigan and moved to Breckenridge, CO in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. A year later we moved on to Deming, WA where we lived for seven years at the foot of Mount Baker (an active volcano) and the banks of the Nooksack River. As a young couple, we enjoyed hiking, skiing, and running the trails. We started our family in 2007 and happily moved back to Michigan in 2010 to be closer to our parents. We have two pretty cool children, who now keep us super busy with their travel hockey schedules.
Growing up we spent our summers visiting my grandparents in Northport, Michigan on the coast of Lake Michigan. This amazing little town inspired my love for the outdoors and water. My husband and I were married on Christmas Cove beach in Northport and were lucky enough to be able to purchase the home my grandfather built there in 1938 and now can enjoy this magical place with our own family.
I first learned about Beth Millner Jewelry when my own friend became an ambassador (Alaina Sharp)! I quickly started stalking all of Beth Millner's social media pages and knew I had finally found a company that not only makes jewelry that matches my personality and style but instills many of the core values I look for in a company; eco-friendly, invested in their community, and prides themselves in providing high-quality goods and outstanding customer service.
My first piece was the Fox on Starry Night ring, “Foxes are an age-old symbol of adaptability. Let this ring bring you patience in times of change, and help you to welcome new experiences into your life” The fox has always played a significant role in my life, and ironically my husband bought this ring for my birthday days before COVID-19 changed all our lives. Once again the fox was there to remind me to have patience, be adaptable, and embrace the change. Apart from the jewelry, my family has been staying safe in style with our handmade Beth Millner masks! I am so excited to share this wonderful business over the next few months.
