A Match Made-In-Michigan
Having been long-time admirers of Stormy Kromer, as we share so many core values, a collaboration seemed natural. Their Ironwood, Michigan factory is just a 3 hour drive west from our shop.
Stormy Kromer represents the outdoor lifestyle characteristic to our region and our people’s high standards for quality materials and products. We are proud to announce a collaborative giveaway with this iconic Upper Peninsula company.
The Stormy Kromer Story
Back in 1903, the Original Stormy Kromer cap was built with quality fabric, carefully handcrafted in the U.S. It was authentic, rugged and durable – perfect for Stormy, a hard-working Wisconsin railroad engineer.
After repeatedly losing his cap on the windy locomotive, he asked his wife Ida to make him a new one, with a snug, pull-down earband to keep it in place. The popularity of that first cap launched a small family business.
More than 100 years later, Stormy Kromer products are still made by a family-run business with the same quality and care. Only now they’re a bit more comfortable and a lot more fashionable – perfect for, well, just about anybody.
The Beth Millner Jewelry Story
Beth Millner Jewelry was started in 2007 in the corner of Beth's tiny kitchen while she was a student attending Northern Michigan University. After graduating from the Art & Design program, Beth traveled the country for several months showing at art and music festivals.
Five years later, in 2012, she opened her own storefront in downtown Marquette, Michigan. Our mission is to provide artisan designed jewelry fabricated in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
Each piece of jewelry is carefully crafted in the studio upstairs of the storefront in Marquette, Michigan with a high level of attention to detail and craftsmanship. Locals and visitors alike have come to know Beth Millner Jewelry as a staple shop for high-quality, meaningful gifts and a fun, friendly place to visit in Marquette.

I’m so happy with this beautiful ring! Shipping was smooth. I decided after I received my ring that I wanted another one to go with it and Beth was very helpful with answering questions quickly. My fiancé loves his ring too, and he’s not a “ring guy” lol.
