As an artist and nature lover, I’m always looking for unique pieces that reflect and celebrate a passion for creativity and the outdoors. Beth Millner’s pieces could not be more perfect in helping me express and share this love -- her craftsmanship, artistry, and incorporation of natural materials makes for truly one-of-a-kind pieces. I landed in Marquette by way of Ann Arbor in 2015, and I can’t imagine living in a more beautiful and inspiring place! It’s so much fun to be able to run along Lake Superior, hike the trails, paddleboard, bike, and just generally explore all the natural wonders around us. Recently, I’ve taken to bringing my travel art kit with me so I can sketch ideas for larger paintings or simply enjoy the process (and the challenge!) of painting outside.
I’m also an avid reader, 90s sitcom enthusiast, and bookseller at Snowbound Books. Few things are better than curling up with a good book, especially in the winter after playing in the snow. The holiday season is a magical time in Marquette, and I’m looking forward to helping our local businesses thrive!

My husband bought this for me in an aquamarine for my birthday. I love the uniqueness of the ring. The birch etching goes throughout the entire band. He knows I love me a birch tree and picked out the perfect gift. Packaging and shipping were on point.
