What's #GivingTuesday?

According to Giving Tuesday's website "#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give."

What

The holidays tend to exemplify and remind us of all of the things we have to be grateful for. It is also a time to remember those who are less fortunate in your community, and organizations that strive to make your community a better place to live.

This is why Beth Millner Jewelry is resolute in supporting worthy charitable organizations through our jewelry fundraiser program. Through this program, we have donated $28,000 to date! This initiative is Beth's way of giving back to the community that helped support her business as it grew from a one-woman operation, to a brick and mortar storefront employing 8 local people.

What

This year we are working with four local organizations: Peter White Public Library, Iron Ore Heritage Trail, Bonifas Art Center, & Upper Peninsula Children's Museum. With each purchase of one of these pendants, we give $50 right back to the coordinating organization.
