Meet Our Staff!
Sometimes people ask us what makes Beth Millner Jewelry successful, and while there are many factors involved, one huge one is our incredible staff. Every person on our team brings something unique to the table.
Janna, our shop manager, has been working with Beth for over 5 years now, and she is the one that keeps everything running smoothly. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Human Centered Design. She is an amazing painter, dessert maker, unexpected joke teller, and ring leader for our staff. Check out her favorite pieces in this blog post!
Nina, Beth's studio assistant manager, has been working here for four and a half years. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Ceramics and learned metalsmithing from Beth. She is known for her speed in the studio and her sunny disposition. She is a talented artist, a podcast lover, and a momma to an adorable puppy named Hildy. Check out some of her favorite pieces here!
Lex is our assistant manager. They are like a human encyclopedia - if you have a question, they can probably answer it! They graduated with a degree in Painting from Northern Michigan University and started working for Beth about two years ago. They are involved in local theater, particularly at the Historic Vista Theater, where they have been integral to the revitalization efforts that are happening for the historic building. They also have an awesome sense of fashion. Find out more about their favorite pieces here!
Reba is one of our sales and office assistants. She is our current photo aficionado and can usually be found taking photos in the field of flowers outside of our shop. She grew up on a farm and has a passion for chickens and bunnies. She always has encouraging words for everyone and has an optimistic but logical way of looking at things. She's great at drawing, writing poetry, and helping others believe in themselves. Read more about the jewelry Reba loves here!
Jane started at the same time as Reba and is another sales and office assistant. She does most of the writing for the shop and has recently forayed into photo editing. She is currently pursuing a degree in creative writing from Northern Michigan University. She’s the first person to play 70’s music over the speakers at work and on weekends usually takes day trips around the Upper Peninsula. Check out her favorite pieces here!
Alexa is our graphic designer - she has been working here for a few months now. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Graphic Design and recently moved back to the Upper Peninsula. She has an eye for design, an easy going personality, and always has something thoughtful to add to any conversation. Plus, she has some really cute kitties. She’s getting married this Halloween, which might be the coolest thing we’ve ever heard. Check out Alexa's favorite pieces here.
Taylor is our newest studio assistant. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Drawing and Painting. When she isn’t at Beth Millner, you can find her at Cafe Bodega. Before she came to work for us, she spent a year traveling around the United States in her van, and we love her easy-going sense of adventure.
Hannah is our newest member but she fit in right away. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Professional Writing and has a passion for jewelry. Her collection is huge, and she still has every piece she’s ever gotten! When she isn’t at work, she’s usually hiking (Pictured Rocks is a favorite spot) with her puppy - Frances. Last, but certainly not least, is Beth! She brought us all together with her amazing artwork. She truly lives by the mission she set for this business and is always looking for ways to be a better boss, a better ambassador for the environment, and a more socially conscious human. She has a killer sense of humor, a talent for thrifting, is a straight talker, and a nature lover. It’s awesome to work for such a genuine and talented person. Check out some of the pieces she loved creating here!
